For sale is this superb piece of Meissen. Its in as found condition with no major damage. Unfortunately a couple of the leaves hav small chips, but this does not detract for this beautiful Lamp base. The Meissen factory Dates back to 1706 and is Europes oldest paste porcelain manufacturers, with the two crossed swords stamp bing one of the earliest marks used to recognise the company. Meissen is highly collectable and pieces such as this Lamp base are extremely hard to find. I’m dating this piece to be around the 1880 circa but do stand to be corrected. Displaying 3 cherubs holding up a woven Floral basket this piece is certainly one for the collectors. Measuring approximately 165mm in height and with a diameter of 140mm this beautiful piece can be picked up in store or posted at an additional cost.
