For sale is this superb looking Victorian Vase. I’m dating this to around the 1890 to 1910 era, due to it’s Victorian/ Art Nouveau shape. Measuring 240m in height and with an overall diameter of 190mm, this Pottery vase would suit any Naughtical or Maritime enthusiast. As per photos there is no real makers marks, other than an embossed G9 to the base, there also appears to be some other engraving on the base but this has become very hard to read due to its age. Displaying a lovely beachside scene, complete with a stunning portraight of a lighthouse and two beachside cabins nestled into the surrounding hills. I haven’t been able to find any signatures on the art work, and do not recognise the Lighthouse, I am only guessing, but I believe it could possibly be from the British isles. This Pottery vase has no visible chips or cracks, the artwork is also in very good condition for its age.
