For sale I have this large 14lb Edwards Tea Tin. This comes in ok condition for its age, with the advertising to the face being its main selling point. These cans are becoming harder to come across, thus making them highly collectable. Edwards was a Melbourne based Tea Company, which originated in 1892 it was based in flinders street Melbourne in the early 1900s. Robert Edwards took a punt and bought his own horse and gig as to source his own Tea from the Gippsland region, as he new it was the only way he could compete against the other Tea Merchants. He ran the business till his death in the 1940s. This Tin is a part off Australia’s history and has no holes. This can be picked up in store or shipped at an additional cost.
